  The eighth information conference of China 500 largest enterprises and 500 large enterprises competitiveness of China was held in Great Hall of the people in Beijing. People Electrical Appliance Group enters one of the largest 500 enterprises and ranked 45th among 500 competitiveness of large enterprises ,owing to the excellent achivement of output - more than ten billion .
  It is learned that the China People Electrical Appliance Group has been successively hornored as China Top 500 since 2002,this is the seventh time on the list .
  People Electrical Appliance Group board chairman Zhen Yuanbao won the honor  "the man of Chinese reform and innovation "  "Jin Jue Award "and was awarded with the title "Chinese of excellence".

When board chairman Zhen Yuanbao was in an interview with CCTV journalists, pointing out that after years of carefully nurtured, the China International Exhibition of machinery and electronic products will become mature continously . People Electrical Appliance has been taking good advantage of this platform, and have received an unprecedented development in Wuhan of Hubei Province.During recent five machinary fairs, People Electrical Appliance is always invited as a special delegation, through twelve years of efforts, People Electrical Appliance's development has been integrated into the track of globalization, has become an important force of China electrical industry, as well as have made due contributions to central China.

25th of september 2008, an important day of  China space history - the success of Shenzhou VII manned spacecraft launch. When good news came, attracted worldwide attention .The world  focused attention on China once again, People Electrical Appliance Group become ecstatic as well as all of the sons and daughters of China all over the world which is located in the East China Sea . because "Shenqi" 's successful launch, there is a dedication of People Electrical Appliance.

2008 "China Machinery 500 Top Study" and " World Top 500 Machinery" conference recently held in Beijing, People Electric Appliance made another new level, jumping to "China Machinery 500" No. 18, it was listed as the first place of the National Transmission and Distribution and control equipment manufacturing industry , Zhejiang Province was in the second place on the list, entered the "World's Top 500 machinery," once again.

7th of June 2008, the United States Partner Mr. Lin Jiefu paid a visit to People Electrical Appliance Group. Accompanied by General Manager, Ye Yusen ,the guests visited the group exhibition to learn more about the history of the development of the Group of the people, the development model, corporate culture, social values, leading industries, diversified development, as well as received honors for these years and so on.

1st of June 2008, People Electrical Appliance board chairman Zhen Yuanbao as a public figure who made outstanding contribution to charity was invited to participate in the eastern suburbs hotel in Shanghai at the inaugural ceremony of "more Love Foundation".   

Following the 2006 British masterpiece worked with  "king of shipping" on the shipbuilding industry, People Electrical Appliance recently bold in Vietnam, "an electric shock." Vietnam PETN Station which People Electrical Appliance is the General Contracting Group will be in formal operation in May 2009 .It could supply one-sixth of Vietnam land area of industrial and residential electricity consumption." This is the first domestic private enterprises involved in cross-border development of hydropower projects in field of general contracting.

Under the efforts of all members of People electric appliance group, We finally won "China Quality Award" on 2008-11-06.
